"I create whimsical watercolor paintings—weaving together scientific insight with artistic intuition."

Sarah Diana explores the natural properties of water—its flow, tension, absorption, and unpredictability—through both traditional brushes and unconventional tools. Drawing on her background in science education, she uses salt, alcohol, and iridescence to introduce moments of alchemy where rich earthen pigments transform into shimmering, unexpected forms.

Her process is immersive, often unfolding over 12-hour sessions as she respond in real time to the pigments’ movement. Working on high-quality cotton paper or canvas chosen for their absorbency and texture, Sarah allows water and color to merge organically, producing luminous contrasts, delicate highlights, and dynamic focal points. Each piece is completed with a custom frame that enhances its character.

Sarah's work invites the viewer into a playful, meditative space where color, form, and fluidity meet.

At the intersection of science, creativity, and divinity, she seeks to evoke both wonder and reflection—an exploration of the beauty found in unpredictability.
